NoriWatch is a media player for Apple TV and iPad that plays videos from your own network storage (SMB shares / NAS). It is built so that your data stays yours: there are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no servers operated by us. We — the developer — receive no data whatsoever from the app.
This uses Apple's iCloud Key-Value storage tied to your Apple Account. We have no access to it. You can disable iCloud for NoriWatch in your device's iCloud settings.
.nori/.state.enc) is written to
each share you use. It contains watch positions and playback preferences so
progress syncs between devices even without iCloud. It lives on your own hardware
and is encrypted so casual browsing of the share does not reveal your watch
history.download.blender.org). No identifying
information is sent beyond the standard network request. That's the complete list. The app makes no other network connections — no analytics endpoints, no crash reporting, no update checks.
Nothing. The App Store privacy label for NoriWatch is "Data Not Collected."
NoriWatch does not collect data from anyone, including children.
